A service for those carrying loss through the holidays
Sunday, 6 Dec 2026
Commencing at 5pm
Christmas can be especially difficult when someone you love is no longer here. Whether this is your first holiday season without them or one of many, you are warmly invited to join us for our 3rd Annual Christmas Memorial Service.
Held at the beginning of the holiday season, this service offers a moment to pause before the busyness begins; to reflect, to remember, and to honour those who are deeply missed at this time of year. It is a space for anyone, of any age, background, or belief, to come together in shared understanding. Whether your traditions are religious, spiritual, or simply centred around family and connection, you are welcome here.
Featuring performances throughout from the Waratah Girls Choir, the service creates a gentle and meaningful atmosphere for remembrance. There is no expectation or pressure - only an opportunity to sit quietly, to reflect, and to acknowledge the love that continues, even in absence.
For many, this can be a way to gently step into the season ahead; holding both grief and love, and finding a sense of grounding before the days unfold. Following the service, you are warmly invited to stay for light refreshments, offering a chance to connect with others, share a moment, or simply take your time before heading back out into the season.
