Miss Me But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little – But not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared.
Miss me a little – but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me – but let me go.

In Loving Memory of Peter

Dearly loved husband of Barbara. Much loved father of Karen, Shauna, Rodney, Cassandra, and their families.

Our family wish to thank you for the love and support you have shown by your attendance here today.

Our Dad, Our Hero

You held our hands when we were small,
you caught us when we fell.
You’re the hero of our childhood
and our later years as well.

And every time we think of you,
our hearts still fill with pride,
though we’ll always miss you Dad,
we know you’re by our side.

In laughter and in sorrow,
in sunshine and through rain.
We know you’re watching over us,
until we meet again.

A gentle nature, a heart of gold.
These are the memories we will hold.

Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories
